About The Canadian Birth Alliance
Our mission and commitment here at the CBA is to upholding the highest standard of informed consent in all aspects of Canadian perinatal care. We stand as a united voice for transparency, bodily autonomy and accountability. Through education, advocacy, action and collaboration, we actively advocate against any practices that undermine a family's ability and right to understand, choose, accept, decline or withdraw consent to care. We aim to protect every woman's right to make fully informed decisions about her body and birth, free from bias, coercion, intimidation, violence or withheld information.
